A Letter From Our Founder

Friends and Partners,

The Horn Roots Relief Organization Known as is a non-profit organization dedicated to empower young, women, and vulnerable community in Somaliland through education, skills development civic engagement and advocacy, community mobilization. Founded 2022 with the vision of fostering a generation of informed, skilled and active citizens. Horn Roots Relief Organization serves as a platform for youth to unleash their potential and contribute meaningfully to thier communities. Also, this organization founded for the sake of switched to unsustainable and destructive actions like tree burning to make ends meet and compensate for their economic losses. lack of concrete plans and actions by the local institution and international NGOs towards climate change, awareness, adaptation, or mitigation contribute to the vulnerability of the communities. To help reduce the vulnerability of these rural communities and others, organization founders decided to form more organizational activities on 3 march 2022 meeting, the day of the conference. Our main purposes were to increase activities, to sustain resilient rural communities through skills training, awareness, information sharing, community participation, taking ownership of all programs aimed to help them. This will go along way towards mitigating climate shocks, improve food security reduce poverty in rural communities.
